White Chocolate dipped Lemon Cannoli!
The November 2009 Daring Bakers Challenge was chosen and hosted by Lisa Michele ofParsley, Sage, Desserts and Line Drives. She chose the Italian Pastry, Cannolo (Cannoli is plural), using the cookbooks Lidia’s Italian-American Kitchen by Lidia Matticchio Bastianich and The Sopranos Family Cookbook by Allen Rucker; recipes by Michelle Scicolone, as ingredient/direction guides. She added her own modifications/changes, so the recipe is not 100% verbatim from either book.
Congrats on your first challenge! The cannoli look fabulous =D. I'm glad you enjoyed them!
ReplyDeleteWOW that platter of choc cannoli is superb and lemon/white choc is fabulous well done. Nice pixs also. Cheers from Audax in Australia.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 1st challenge - the white chocolate lemon cannoli sound delicious! I had to go the napoleon route on mine, as I did not have the cannoli forms. They didn't turn out too well, but I look forward to giving these another shot after I find some cannoli forms.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed a great Thanksgiving holiday!
Welcome to Daring Bakers, and congrats on a first challenge perfectly executed! All of your cannoli look great, but I have to say I'm partial to the white chocolate- lemon because I'm a white chocolate junkie! Thank you so much for deep frying with me this month!
ReplyDeleteThank you all, very much!
